Method 1: Through iOS Settings (Recommended)
For iOS 13 and later:
Tip: Set a reminder before your next billing cycle if you want to evaluate whether to continue the subscription, as cancelled subscriptions automatically renew if you don't take action.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name/Apple ID at the top
- Select Subscriptions
- Choose the subscription you want to cancel
- Tap Cancel Subscription
- Confirm by tapping Confirm when prompted
- Open Settings → iTunes & App Store
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Select View Apple ID and sign in if prompted
- Tap Subscriptions
- Choose the subscription to cancel
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Method 2: Through the App Store
- Open the App Store app
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner
- Select Subscriptions
- Find and tap the subscription you want to cancel
- Tap Cancel Subscription
- Confirm the cancellation
Important Notes
- Timing: Subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period
- Access: You'll continue to have access to premium features until the subscription expires
- Reactivation: You can resubscribe anytime through the same process
- Billing: No charges will occur after the current period ends once cancelled
Troubleshooting
If you don't see the subscription listed:
- Check if you're signed in with the correct Apple ID
- Look for the subscription under a different Apple ID if you have multiple accounts
